Preparations Underway

This week I attended my ISEP "Pre-Departure" Information Session where I was given an 88-page booklet of frequently asked questions about the exchange program. I am thus now officially that guy applying to go to ESC Rouen next Winter, hehe.

My applications are presently being sent to the host, and since I'm only going in the Winter, I should expect to receive a final acceptance (or not, but this has apparently never happened before) by early October.

Between now and then I must inform myself on health insurance plans, draw up a budget, get finances in order, and other such minor preparations. Then in October, when my acceptance package comes in from Rouen, I have a one-on-one meeting with Amanda to go over everything I need to know about the school, and prepare to register for courses.

I got to meet some of the other people heading out on exchange this week in the session, and it seems to be a good bunch. Two other people from my info session (there were 2 or more such sessions) are going to France, though I am the only one going to Rouen.
