The Journey Begins
On Friday, March 17th, I received my acceptance letter into the JMSB's ISEP. As a first year student, I wasn't able to pick my country of destination right now, as in order to go on an exchange, you must have completed at least 24 credits with at least a 3.0 GPA, and at the time, I had only completed a single semester.
Thus, my acceptance is only conditional for the time being, but it is still extremely exciting. Come May, assuming my GPA is still above 3.0 with my second semester grades (and it certainly should be), I will get ranked along with all other first semester accepted applicants, and going in order from highest ranking to lowest, each student will be given choices of schools where space is available for exchange students. Many schools could potentially be available all around the world. I may be spending next Winter in the United States, Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, or even Australia!
My first choices right now are the University of South Florida, located in Tampa, or the California State University, which has campuses throughout California, with my preference being their Long Beach school.
Anyway, this stuff is all boring for now, but I wanted to get this started and see how it worked, so the excitement will come later!
